A 22-year-old rapper, Capo, has been shot dead in Chicago on Saturday afternoon.
Capo, 22, known for his affiliation with Chief Keef’s Glory Boyz Entertainment, was the victim of a drive-by shooting in his hometown of Chicago, the Chicago Tribune reported. The shooting took place at 1.40pm.
Nearly 20 minutes after the incident, a 1-year-old boy was struck and killed by the suspect’s vehicle. Micah Ocana, a witness of the tragic scene, said that the driver didn’t hesitate to escape and pulled up toward a woman pushing the baby on a sidewalk, colliding with the stroller.
“Baby wasn’t even crying… Just a lot of blood. I can only imagine what she’s going through… It’s crazy,” he told the Tribune. The woman “didn’t get hit at all.”
Memorials for the slain rapper were posted on social media, with some posted by close friends, musicians and fans.
