24: Live Another Day To Be filmed In London

British Fans of gripping TV Series, ‘24’, starring Keifer Sutherland as agent Jack Bauer will be especially pleased to hear that filming for the next mini series will start soon and parts of it will be shot in London.

The next instalment would probably be more suitably named ‘12’ as it would only by a twelve part series instead of the twenty four part format that fans have been used to.

Filming in London is expected to begin January 2014.

Fox confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that Jack Bauer’s (Kiefer Sutherland) next “thrilling international adventure” will see the counter-terrorism agent dealing with a crisis in Europe.

Sutherland said in a statement that 24: Live Another Day’s European setting further establishes the show’s “global sensibility”.

“To be able to tell this intense 24-style story with the beauty of Europe’s history and architecture as the backdrop is going to be fascinating,” the actor commented.

He added: “Hopefully, by the time you’re finished watching an episode, you’ll feel like you’ve been there… on the edge of your seat.”

24 producer Evan Katz also teased that the return of Jack Bauer will be “event” television.

The 12-part limited series is to take place over a single day, with Howard Gordon and Jon Cassar returning as executive producers.

Original 24 star Mary Lynn Rajskub has announced that she will be reprising her role as Chloe O’Brian.
