The England U-20 team Coach, Paul Simpson, has listed six players in his final squad for the U20 World Youth Championship, which will be held in South Korea later in the month, who are also eligible to play for Nigeria.
The squad includes Everton’s Ademola Lookman who was approached by the Nigeria Football Federation last month to switch allegiance.
The list also features the Liverpool duo of Ovie Ejaria and Sheyi Ojo.
Ejaria trained with the Nigeria U17 team of 2013 but failed to make the squad for the World Cup proper. He, however, broke into the first team at Liverpool this season after impressing Coach Jurgen Klopp during pre season training.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Josh Onomah was also included while Chelsea’s teen duo of Dominic Solanke and Fikayo Tomori complete the list of Nigerians on the list released on Monday.
