Another suicide bomber has killed at least 10 people on Thursday in Biu, a commercial town in Borno State.
According to an eyewitness, the bomb exploded a few metres away from a fuel station in Biu, a town in Borno State about 160 kilometers from Maiduguri, the hotbed of Boko Haram insurgency.
The source said, “The suicide bomber was a few metres from a filling station when the bomb on him detonated, killing him and nine other persons in the vicinity.”
The source, who spoke to a Punch correspondent on the telephone from Biu, said the suicide bomber disembarked from a tricycle, popularly known as Keke, near the filling station, walked in the direction of the filling station when the bomb detonated and killed 10 persons and causing injuries to several others.
