Manchester United legend, Andy Cole, believes Kelechi Iheanacho has a great future at Manchester City as his team faces local Premier league rivals, Manchester United, later today.
According to a Supersports report, Iheanacho is favoured to play a role in Saturday’s Manchester derby between United and City especially with the latter’s influential Argentine striker, Kun Sergio Aguero suspended for the game.
Cole says Iheanacho and United’s precocious striker, Marcus Rashford, who has been severally compared to the 19-year-old Nigerian, have big futures in the game.
“They’re both young players starting out in their careers.
“Though they are different types of players they have both forced their way into their teams by scoring goals.
“I’m sitting here as a Manchester United fan thinking what a fantastic future Rashford has and with Iheanacho he has taken his opportunity with both hands,” Cole told 888sport.
Iheanacho scored 14 goals in all competitions for City last season.
