Justin Bieber has been released from Los Angeles International airport after being held by authorities at a U.S. Customs and Border Control area.
A spokesperson for Bieber informed The Hollywood Reporter that he was released three to four hours later that evening.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Bieber was immediately detained after landing in L.A. from Asia, where he was questioned by officials at the U.S. Customs and Border Control.
It is reported, however, that it is standard procedure for non-citizens to be questioned by Immigration and Customs Enforcement when entering the US.
Prior to his release, Bieber’s trial in Miami for DUI charges was postponed to May, after his lawyers requested more time to discuss plea deals and look at evidence.
