Michael Douglas has revealed on The Tonight Show that he might be getting back with Catherine Zeta-Jones with a view to giving their marriage another chance.
Speaking to Jay Leno as a guest on the show, the 69-year-old Hollywood star said he was ‘very hopeful’ that his relationship with his estranged wife was ‘on the up and up’.
When asked how things were with Catherine, he said: ‘Good I hope. I’ve been away for a while but everything should hopefully be on the up and up,’
We reported earlier here that Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who had been married for 13-years, were taking a break to ‘evaluate and work on their marriage’.
He said during the interview that their separation doesn’t signal that things were over for good.
‘Sometimes people take a little bit of a break, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that’s the end. I’m very hopeful,’ he said.
Michael also spoke about his two children with Catherine – Dylan, 13, and Carys, 10, claiming they ‘are doing great’ despite the split.
