Nigerians On Twitter Unanimously Reject The Idea Of Arming FRSC
Nigerians have expressed their dissatisfaction over the news that members of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) will start bearing arms.
According to a Channel news report, the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Mr Boboye Oyeyemi, made this known after detailing an increased rate of personnel casualties at the commission.
This was one of the issues that emanated from the year-ending strategy session convened by the FRSC.
FRSC carrying arms means the Nigerian government wants more Nigerians to die. Because the purpose of the guns is not to kill chickens.

Things FRSC actually need to do their job:
Alcohol breathalysers
Speed tracking devices
City cams
Mobile first aid clinics, etc
NOT GUNS!— AdaNwaAda (@cremechic11) December 5, 2016
Please the way we acted against incease in data tariffs, let's do the same for the FRSC becoming armed. This is more serious.

What is with the rampant militarization of non-combative agencies in Nigeria? After FRSC, who's next, FIRS?

We're doing well.
We've finally given guns to my friends in FRSC.
Next up = INEC officials & Youth Corpers.
We all must "EN-FORCE" the law!— Chuba Ugwu (@chonsyy) December 5, 2016
In a country that is still battling proliferation of arms, you give FRSC power to carry arms. Small time VIO will join. Kuku kill us finish!

Procuring arms for #FRSC isn't a rational decision. The question is " where is the money coming from"?

LMAOOOO. the FRSC to hold guns. man my country is making me dumb. i swear if i keep staying here i might end up with no IQ whatsoever.

When did FRSC become a security agency? Who next will be armed? KAI?
— AdaNwaAda (@cremechic11) December 5, 2016
Instead of training and equipping the FRSC with modern technological facilities, they are giving them arms. I have headache sef.

Sir instead of arming the FRSC officials @NGRPresident why not use the money to build accident and emergency clinics on our highways
