A school principal in Nasarawa state has been suspended after a video of him caning students was shared on social media.
The state’s Commissioner of Education, Tijjani Ahmed, said that the head teacher and some of his colleagues had been suspended for one month and that an investigation had been launched, according to local media reports.
In the video, the teacher is seen caning several students with hard strokes.
