Tammy Abraham will be one of the key players fronting the Premier League’s new “No Room for Racism” campaign which begins this weekend, with the backing of the FA, Kick it Out and the police.
The Telegraph report that the Chelsea striker will join some of his fellow England internationals, including Raheem Sterling and Jordan Pickford, to be one of the faces of the new push to eliminate racism in domestic game.
All were involved in the squad that suffered the horrible abuse in Bulgaria this week, and like rest of the squad and the media there they’ve all condemned what happened.
A video launching the campaign will be broadcast prior to kick-offs on stadium big screens this weekend. The launch had been planned prior to the scenes in Sofia on Monday, when England twice stopped their Euro 2020 qualifier after monkey chants from far-right Bulgarian fans.
