The Euro 2020 qualifier match between England and Bulgaria ended in a Six-nil victory scoreline for England without any contribution from the Chelsea duo of Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori.
Their Chelsea team-mate, Ross Barkley, did not only start the match but scored twice. He was substituted in the 73rd minute by yet another Chelsea youngster, Mason Mount.
There was a lot of controversy over whether Abraham would choose England, his country of birth or Nigeria, his father’s country of origin.
He chose the former.
His inclusion in the squad that was beaten by the Czech Republic on Friday has probably extinguished any chance of him playing for Nigeria.
Fikayo Tomori on the other hand is yet to get any field action for England.
