Arsenal Go On Top Of EPL

Arsenal FC are currently on top of the English Premier League table with fifteen points after defeating Swansea by two goal to one yesterday.

The London club will remain in that position, at least, till the next round of fixtures next week when the meet West Brom away.

Even if Arsenal lose their match next week against West Brom they would still remain on top of the pile unless Spurs win their London derby against West Ham next week.

A goal each from Serge Gnabry and Aaron Ramsey put Arsenal ahead after 62 minutes of play in the match.

Ben Davies scored Swansea’s only goal nine minutes to the end of regulation time.

The game was far from clean as five players from both sides were booked: Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta of Arsenal received yellow cards while Jonathan De Guzman, Chico and Jose Canas of Swansea were also booked.
