Nigeria international and Leicester midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has sounded a note of warning to Brazil, that they shouldn’t worry only about Alex Iwobi but every member of the team should give them cause to worry.
Speaking ahead of the Super Eagles clash against the Brazilian national team in Singapore, the Leicester midfielder paid huge respect to the Samba boys by acknowledging that Sunday’s match will be a tough one. He said: “Brazil are a good team and it isn’t going to be easy.
But this is why we’re here, we want to see where we are at. The game will serve as a test for our young team trying to get experience.
Brazil don’t have to worry about only Alex but about our whole team.”
His Super Eagles teammate, Troost-Ekong, also acknowledged the seriousness with which the Nigerian boys are taking the clash against Brazil. Troost-Ekong said, “Brazil are one of the best teams in the world and we have to respect them. But if we are at our best, we can make things difficult for them. We shouldn’t fear them or be afraid. We have young players who want to prove ourselves.”
