President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday will join other Heads of State and Government in N’Djamena, for the inauguration ceremony of President Idriss Deby’s fifth term as president of Chad.
Idriss Deby has been in government since 1990.
According to a statement by his special adviser, media, Femi Adesina, President Buhari will be accompanied on the one-day trip by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State.
The President’s delegation will also include Sen. Baba Kaka Garba, Hon. Mohammed Tahir Monguno, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama and the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (rtd).
The President is scheduled to return to Abuja after the inauguration.
