The much-anticipated list of nominees for the 2024 Grammy Awards has been announced Friday afternoon and Afrobeat artistes, Burnaboy and Davido were amongst the nominees.
The two Nigerian Afrobeat singers were nominated in the same category, “Best Global Music”
Burnaboy was nominated for “I told Them” while Davido was nominated for “Timeless”.
Other nominees for the same category were, former Peruvian Culture minister, Susana Baca for “Epifanias” Shakti – “This Moment” and Spanish group, Bokante, for “History”.
