Card Reader Malfunctions Again During Jonathan’s Accreditation
The card reader that was meant to accredit former President Jonathan during the Bayelsa State governorship election failed to function, reminiscent of what occurred during the Presidential Elections in March.
The president was to be accredited at Otazi Playground, Polling Unit 039, Ward 13, Otuoke, Ogbia Local Government Area.
President Jonathan and his wife, Patience, had approached the polling unit at about 8:45 a.m, but were quickly urged by the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Baritor Kpagih, to return home on account of the malfunctioning card reader.
A few minutes later, however, at about 8:55 a.m, two card readers were brought to replace the malfunctioning one.
