Aribo himself wrote on Instagram: “Tough game against a top Brazil side!
“Team put in a shift until the end. Delighted to have got a goal.
“Thank you to all the supporters that came out tonight and also everyone supporting worldwide #SoarSuperEagles.”
Mercury Prize winner, Dave, replied: “🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.”
England international Hudson-Odoi wrote: “Killing it 🔥🔥.”
Ex-Charlton ace Aribo’s friendly goal – which saw him waltz past Arthur and Marquinos before finishing past Man City’s Ederson – also earned praise from several of his Gers team-mates.
Sheyi Ojo said: “Woah.”

Wes Foderingham added: “Bread.”
Connor Goldson wrote: “MAD 🕷️ 🍍.”
His former Charlton team-mate Lyle Taylor also chipped in on Twitter.
