The head of Egypt’s Supreme Constitutional Court, Adly Mahmud Mansour has been sworn in as Egypt’s Interim President.
Born in Cairo, 23rd December 1945, he graduated from Cairo University Law school in 1967, earned a postgraduate degree in Law in 1969 and received his licence to practise Law in 1970. He’s been deputy head of Egypt’s constitutional court since 1992. He was appointed as head in May 2013 and took up post July 1st.
He has once been described as a mysterious man with a low media profile.
We shall, no doubt, hear more about him in the coming days.
