Elon Musk Promises To Keep Gaza Connected With Starlink

Elon Musk has said that SpaceX’s Starlink satellites will support communication links in Gaza with “internationally recognised aid organisations”, Sky News reports.

The billionaire has been under fire in recent weeks, with the EU warning him to crack down on the spread of misinformation about the conflict shared on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

Responding to a user on X who asked for Starlink’s help in supplying Gaza with coverage after a wider connectivity blackout, Musk said “we will support the UN and other internationally recognised aid groups”.

“No terminals from Gaza have attempted to communicate with our constellation,” he added in a separate post.
