Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has promised to make a comeback soon after picking up an injury in Sunday’s international friendly with Brazil.
Uzoho was stretchered off the pitch in the 65th minute following what appeared to be a serious injury.
He was replaced with Maduka Okoye who made his international debut for Nigeria.
“A big thank you to you all 🙏🏽. I will be back stronger and better IN CHRIST ALONE,” Uzoho tweeted.
Uzoho will now be checked by doctors to determine the extent of his injury and how long he will be sidelined.
Uzoho has made five appearances and kept three clean sheets this season for Omonia Nikosia who occupy the second position in the Cypriot First Division.
A big thank you to you all 🙏🏽. I will be be back stronger and better
