In a press briefing on Tuesday, new Everton manager, Carlo Ancelotti, provided injury updates on Alex Iwobi, Theo Walcott, and Morgan Schneiderlin ahead of their Boxing Day clash with Burnley.
Iwobi went down holding his hamstring less than 10 minutes into Saturday’s 0-0 draw against his former club Arsenal and could miss Everton’s next five matches.
Meanwhile, Walcott and Schneiderlin will continue to be unavailable as they continue recovering from their respective calf injuries.
“Alex Iwobi is not going to play in the next games,” Ancelotti told evertontv.
“He is going to rest for two or three weeks, then start (training) with the team”.
