Passengers on a London bound train from Manchester could not believe their eyes when they saw Australian Pop star, Kylie Minogue, wrapping her legs flirtatiously around hunky “The Voice” contestant, Leo Ihenacho.
Iheanacho, also known as “Leo the lion”, is one of the hopefuls in the latest series of the BBC musical talent show, “The Voice”.
The flirtations actually started on the show.
The blind audition was recorded at the BBC in Salford last month.
Kylie is mentoring the singer who is not exactly so new on the musical scene himself. He used to be a member of a band called “The Streets” till 2010 when he left to pursue a solo career.
During his time in The Streets, Leo performed all around the globe, as well as headlining V Festival and Reading Festival. Leo has sung with many British acts, most notably rap duo The Mitchell Brothers and Kano.
Kylie, who replaced judge Jessie J, 25, was blown away by Leo’s ¬version of Simply Red’s “Holding Back the Years”.
The Australian was so attracted to Leo during the show that she had to hide -behind her chair to conceal her blushes.
She screamed: “I don’t care what his name is. Ignore me. I’m going right back here. I’ve got to compose myself.”
She took a few moments to pull herself together before fighting Tom Jones to get Leo on to her team and he picked her.
He said: “I’m blushing right now. I’ve fancied Charlene (Kylie’s character in soap Neighbours) since I was this high.”
The Sunday People exclusively revealed that Kylie, 45, made a very public display of her ¬affection for her new friend on a train.
Passengers on the Manchester to London service could hardly believe it when they saw the world-famous pop beauty wrap her legs around Leo.
One train passenger who saw the pair said: “They stood like that for two minutes hugging in the carriage.
“They were ¬chatting and flirting and Kylie was laughing at Leo’s jokes.”
It seems they were like loved-up teenagers.
The passenger said: “He was ¬talking about how he ran a ¬competition during filming to count how many hugs he could get off Kylie.
“She asked him how many he had ¬managed. He said something like 15 or 20.
“Then she asked him how many he’d aimed to get and he said ‘I wanted 50.’
“So Kylie got up and said, ‘Right then’ and put her arms around him and began counting out loud saying, ‘This is one, this is two, this is three.’”
They were in full view of about 20 other passengers in first class. Kylie, was also happy to pose for photos with fans during the two-hour journey.
The train ¬passenger added: “They seemed very comfortable in each other’s company and were talking a lot about music and ¬producers but also more light-hearted stuff about filming and the show.
“At one point a ticket ¬inspector walked past and I think he recognised Leo from The Streets.
“Later I heard him say to Leo, ‘How are you? I saw you with Kylie. You looked like you were having a good time. I didn’t want to interrupt.
“I wanted to leave you to it.’”
She has confessed she would happily date a Voice contestant, though coyly -remarked: “I haven’t dated anyone on the show… so far.”
Yet she gushed about Leo, saying: “He’s got charisma. He’s very easy on the eye.
“We would have a good time together. It’s a bonus that this is the package.
“This could be interesting.”
