Madonna has joined the likes of Scout Willis and Miley Cyrus to campaign against Instagram’s rules on nudity by posting a naked picture of herself on the site.
The singer on Thursday posted a throwback picture that showed most of her right breast, which was immediately removed by Instagram.
In response, she posted a picture of herself naked against a rock, writing: “Why is it ok to show ass but not breasts? Drowning in the hypocrisy of social media #artforfreedom #UnapologeticbItch #rebelheart”
Madonna recently explained why she decided to flash her bum to onlookers at the Grammy Awards in February, admitting that she couldn’t help herself.
The singer told Jonathan Ross that “one is allowed one cheeky moment per awards show”.
