Wilfred Ndidi is back in training after surgery on his knee but will not be available for Leicester’s Premier league clash against Burnley today.
The Leicester City midfielder underwent a minor operation last week after damaging his meniscus in the build-up to the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Aston Villa but he is already back on the pitch at City’s Belvoir Drive training ground.
“Wilfred Ndidi has made great progress,” said manager Brendan Rodgers at his press conference on Friday, with the Nigerian expected to be out until February.
“He’s out on the pitch already working, which is great news for us. But of course he won’t be available for the weekend. We’ll see after that.”
