Nigerians have gone on to Social Media to express their doubts over the INEC Chairman, prof. Mahmood Yakubu’s sincerity after announcing on Saturday that results of the November 11 elections in Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi states governorship elections will be uploaded on its Result Viewing Portal (IReV).
Professor Yakubu said this while speaking with journalists at Ward 009, LEA School, Ganaja Village, Ajaokuta LGA, Kogi.
He was in the state to monitor the mock accreditation exercise ahead of the 11 November governorship elections in the three states.
Nigerians on X have, however, expressed doubt over his ability to deliver on this promise.
Posting on his X account, Idris Aminu said, Only a fool will go out to vote in an election Mahmood Yakubu is the umpire after the sham we all witnessed in February.

Another Nigerians expressed his disappointment by saying So Yakubu Mahmood is still promising as INEC Chairman that results will transmitted live on IREV in Bayelsa Elections after a fraudulént 2023 Presidential Elections. We are jokers in Nigeria. In a sane country, he will resign after failing gallantly. What a shame!
