Last Sunday, 12 Jan 2014, was the day thousands of people in different cities all over the world got on public transport with only their underwear (the bottom half) to celebrate the silliness known as ‘No pants Subway’.
It was started by the comedy group, Improv Everywhere, back in 2002, the bloomer-showcasing journey has bloomed in the last dozen years, becoming a cross-border cultural event with thousands of participants.
Commuters in cities all over the world: Sofia, Brussels, Berlin, Beijing, Sydney, London, New York and other cities all over the world boarded trains wearing only their underwear without trousers to the bewilderment of other commuters.
In the Western Hemisphere (where most of these silly things happen, anyway) most of them braved the cold to take the public transport scantily clad.
