Patience Jonathan Humiliated At Port-Harcourt Airport, Barred From Using VIP Lounge
Patience Jonathan, wife of former president, Goodluck Jonathan, was allegedly humiliated on Wednesday by security operatives and aviation officials at the Port Harcourt International airport where she was barred from using the VIP lounge.
Mrs. Jonathan was on her way to the burial of her late Chief Security Officer (CSO), Tamuno Jacob Igbomie, a Deputy Superintendent of Police.
New Telegraph reports that the former First Lady had arrived at the VIP Lounge of the airport to catch her flight but was told by those on duty that she would not use the facility.
Efforts by her personal aides to pacify security agents and aviation staff at the airport were rebuffed as they insisted she could not access the lounge.
The officials told Mrs Jonathan’s entourage that they were acting on an order from Abuja.
DAILY POST gathered that the same drama played out when the former first lady returned to the airport after attending the burial.
The deceased former CSO to Patience Jonathan was shot dead by unknown assailants about three weeks ago.
Igbomie’s corpse was found in his Honda Accord car along Airport Road, Abuja with all his phones, wallet and other personal effects in the car untouched.
