Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, was disappointed the Super Eagles score more goals against Mozambique in their friendly against Mozambique.
The three-time African champions were victorious against Mambas, 3-2, in the match played at the Estadio Municipal de Albufeira.
The Nigerian side conceded early in the game but recovered early enough to score three goals in the first half.
The Super Eagles, probably satisfied with the two-goal lead, failed to score during the second half allowing the Mozambican side to reduce the margin to a one-goal margin.
Their Portuguese manager admitted his side should have performed better.
“I didn’t like the second half because we commanded it, but you must put more concentration and the finishing was poor,” Peseiro said in his post-match interview.
“Our team are better than this team and yet we let in two goals.
“We played better than this result because we created 10, 14 chances, many opportunities.
“I liked the match against Saudi Arabia, but today, I don’t like it. Today, we need to score five, six, seven, eight goals.”
