Prominent Nigerians Pay Homage To Jonathan On Sallah Day

Aso Rock probably receives the same number of visitors regularly but Tuesday’s visitors went especially because of the Sallah festivities to pay homage to President Goodluck Jonathan.

In what has become a tradition, The President, a practising Christian, received a delegation led by the Vice-President, Namadi Sambo, at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday.

Members of the congregation also included the Cardinal John Onaiyekan, the Roman Catholic Church Cardinal Archbishop of Abuja, Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar and the National Security Adviser Col. Sambo Dasuki (Rtd).
