Czech Republic club, Slavia Prague have celebrated their forward, Peter Olayinka’s maiden invitation to the Super Eagles for the friendly against Brazil.
Nigerian born Peter Olayinka became the first Nigerian player to score on his Champions League debut since Yakubu’s hat-trick for Maccabi Haifa against Olympiakos in September 2002 when he opened scoring for his side in their 1-1 draw against Italian giants, Inter in their 17th September Champions league tie.
Olayinka is the only new name in the 23-man list for the game released by Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr on Thursday.
According to his Wikipedia page, because of his talent, there were numerous discussions about making Olayinka, the first foreign player of Albania national football team. Olayinka said that he was willing to play for Albania if he gets the Albanian passport.
