Famous R&B singer, Teddy Riley, is suing Lady Gaga, claiming she cheated him out of his shares for the song, “Teeth”.
Teddy Riley was a member of the famous 90s R&B group, Blackstreet of the “No Diggity, No Doubt” fame.
According to the lawsuit, Riley produced the hit song back in 2009. He claims he was promised 25% of the writing fees but got nothing for his efforts.
The song was featured on the album, “The Fame Monster”, which was Lady Gaga’s breakout work that turned her into a global star and Riley feels betrayed.
He’s suing for $500,000 and punitive damages.
