Thanks to Fernando Torres Chelsea was able to earn three full points from their match against Manchester City on Sunday.
At the beginning of the season, Manchester City and Chelsea were the two teams tipped for glory at the end of the season not the current leaders, Arsenal.
That prediction made their match on Sunday even more dramatic.
Both teams started brilliantly but Chelsea was first to score when Schurle scored a 33rd minute goal for the London side.
The players went on break after 45mins of play with Chelsea leading by a goal.
Aguero equalised three minutes into the second half with Nasri providing the assist.
Both teams threw everything they had into the game and as it drew to a close it became obvious that the next team to score would eventually win the match.
With the scores still at 1-1 both teams made late changes, Eden Hazard was replaced by Samuel Eto’o in the 84th minute and Negredo came in for goal scorer, Negredo three minutes later.
It was Chelsea’s substitution that paid off at last with Fernando Torres scoring the winning goal a minute from regulation time.
Chelsea are now second on the Premier league table after nine games and two points behind leaders, Arsenal.
