US Elections: Two-Thirds Of Total Votes Already Cast Are For Biden

Democratic candidate Joe Biden has the support of 64 per cent, or almost two-thirds, of the estimated 75.5m registered voters who have cast early ballots in the US presidential election, according to CNN, compared with just 34 per cent who said they have voted for Donald Trump.

Mr Biden meanwhile holds a small lead over Mr Trump in the red state of Georgia, where 50 per cent of voters say they support him while 45 per cent are backing the president, according to a new Monmouth poll released on Wednesday.

Another survey carried out for The Independent gives the Democrat a huge 14-point national lead over Mr Trump, leaving his own personal “Great American Comeback” looking ever more unlikely.
